October 2017 Release

This release adds new tools for resellers and administrators, introduces in-app tutorials, updates alert language and reporting timeframes and applies several important bug fixes.
Please note: We have fully transitioned to the new user interface implemented earlier this year, and are no longer updating or supporting the old interface. Please login to web.trustexchange.com to access the current version of the Trust Exchange platform.
New Tools for Resellers and Administrators
Several new administrative tools have been added, including:
- The ability for an active small business reseller to add new enterprise tier users in order to grant them free access to private search when promoting small business customer profiles
- The ability to create new industry tags via the “+ Industry Tag” button in the top menu bar. Administrators will also now be able to manage industry tags in a new Industry Tag tab in the Admin Dashboard
- The ability for administrators to tag test companies so that when a test company profile is viewed, a warning banner will be displayed indicating that the company being viewed is not a real company.
With this release we are launching the inclusion of tutorial videos accessible in-app by users. Currently these videos will be highlighted for users when they are performing relevant actions. As our library of tutorials grows, all videos will be made accessible from any page via a simple dropdown menu, as well as in our Zendesk Knowledge Base (see below).
Updated Alert Language
Alert terminology has been updated from “Passed” and “Failed” to “Criteria Met” and “Criteria Unmet”, while the term “Failed” on portfolio graphs has been replaced with “Exceptions”. These changes were made in response to customer input which indicated that “passed” and “failed” were commonly misinterpreted as desirable or undesirable results, rather than simple true or false checklist query results. The new terminology was vetted and approved by current customers in multiple industries.
New “Today” Report Timeframe
The option to run current date snapshot reports for new events or checklist results is now available. To run a current date report, a user simply selects the “Today” option in the upper right corner of an event or checklist report.
